Phlebotomist (MA-P) - Ilwaco, WA
Pay Breakdown:
• Hourly: $22.00/hr Taxed ($414.00/wk Taxed) +
• Per Diem Eligibility: $500.00/wk =
• $1,380.00/wk Gross Eligibility
Shift: Day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Hours: 10hr Days/4x per week; 40 hours/week
Duration: 12wks
Job Description: Assists the Laboratory staff by preparing appropriate paperwork for completion of laboratory tests; answers telephones; filing patient orders, faxing results, entering orders into our EMR, and may assist with patient preparation according to departmental policies and procedures. Laboratory assistance may perform waived testing after proving competency. Performs all other assigned tasks as required.
Required:
• Cert: MA - P
• High school graduate or equivalent, college preferred.
• Familiar with Medical Terminology.
• Washington State Medical Assistant – Phlebotomist Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Prior experience in hospital/health care operations, with laboratory experience preferred.
